50 readers, each with 12 pages and fully illustrated in colour. Preliminary level introduces common words and provides a way to stimulate talk. Levels 1 and 2 are phonic-based and cover all the sounds used in the Australian pronunciation of English. Software accompanies Preliminary and Level One. Each word of the text is underlined as it is spoken by a human voice. Activities, questions, spelling and writing tasks are included. Topics are of interest to older students.
